This is not just a piece of furniture but an investment piece you'll be proud of. Think about it this piece of furniture was made 50 years ago, the year the Sydney Opera House was opened and it still looks stunning.
Vintage, yet contemporary with clean lines. It will bring a charm to any older home or a new build lacking in soul, texture and warmth.
Admire the Aussie craftsmanship of 1973. Squishy, comfy and great looking, this soft seducer is a sister piece to the Nore Archibald armchair that features as a permanent fixture in Melbourne's NGV (National Gallery of Victoria) in Black. Ahh, but do they have the tan leather 2-seater lounge???
Made from striking Australian eucalyptus hardwood & premium/thick Howe leather when the latter was still produced and finished in Australia.
The lounge is of incredible quality, and is genuinely rare to find in this now fashionable sumptuous tan colour.
The two seats are actually separate, allowing easy repositioning as well as multifunctionality to your space whether it be a home, study, office or grooovy corporate reception area.
Norman Archibald is a furniture designer active ca.1973 developing furniture for Nore Furniture Pty Ltd, Bayswater, Victoria.
Howe Leather still exists. In 1997 it repositioned itself as an automotive leather supplier producing state-of-the-art car seat leather for the industry for manufacturers all around the world.
Composition: Leather/Eucalyptus wood
