HOPS & BARLEY Magazine | Issue 10
Regular price $29.00 Sale price $25.00 $25.00
Hops & Barley magazine uses the subject of beer as a jumping-off point for a wider range of stories, which reflect the diverse interests of its readers.
Since launching in 2014, Hops & Barley have seen the brewing scene develop and grow into one of the most exciting, innovative and dynamic industries. Few places better encapsulate this progressive culture than Brighton, a town which has, in recent years, nurtured one of the UK’s most diverse, inclusive and creative brewing scenes.
Hops & Barley present the city and surrounding areas as the theme for this issue.
SIDETRACKED | Volume 21
Regular price $31.50 $31.50The Meaning of Trust in Adventure.
In Sidetracked Volume 21, the best stories of adventure in our time have been collected: groundbreaking journeys, pioneering ascents, endurance in the face of escalating challenges, and moments of quiet beauty in nature.
In ‘Polar Shadows’, Vincent Colliard and Caroline Côté face the long, brutal night of the Arctic winter with little beyond their reliance on one another to keep them going. Mónica Fuentes and Alberto Ojembarrena dig deep and trust in each other’s capabilities when trekking through a seldom-hiked region of Iceland, and Tamara Lunger and Simone Moro touch the very limits of human endurance while attempting the first winter crossing of two 8,000m Himalayan peaks – an expedition that changes Tamara’s life.
Join in an exploration of what it means to survive, and to accomplish things greater than ourselves, in this issue of Sidetracked.
144 pages, perfect bound, and printed in full colour on FSC approved uncoated 120gsm paper in the United Kingdom.
