Growing the seeds of love

Forget-me-nots are sweet, tiny blue cottage garden flowers that hold sentimental feelings for many. You'll want to get out the camera macro lens to as butterflies and bees start to show up in your secret garden.

Forget-me-nots are a good self-seeder. That means that after the flowers are spent the seeds will simply regerminate in your garden next season. If you'd rather keep your bouquet in a bunch cottage-like format, simply snip those flowers after their brilliant colour has faded. It's all about paying attention to nature.

Where to grow your Forget-Me-Not seeds

Grow your forget-me-knots under trees, in flower beds or they look stunning as a contrast against rock gardens.

When should you sow your seeds?

Easy to grow, Forget-Me-Not seeds can be sown in part shade and are equally as happy in pots or in the garden. They require minimal care.  Sow in good quality soil in summer and autumn at a depth of 3mm. Flowers will bloom in late winter and early spring.

Each card features original artwork by Daniella Germain and includes a packet of mixed seeds, a tear-away biodegradable plant label, an envelope for mailing and sowing instructions.
