ISOLDA BRASIL | Set of 2 Placemats in Corals
Regular price £29.00 Sale price £24.00 £24.00Brazil and Australia have so much in common, not just the climate and laidback lifestyle but also the coral reefs that inspired this stunning napery from Brazilian label Isolda.
Beautifully stitched, these all-cotton placemats are ideal for relaxed dining and living, indoors or out.
Like all Isolda products, the Corais theme begins with an original handpainted design that’s hand-printed into cotton and sewn by hand. Corals, sea creatures and swaying fronds play against a black background, providing vivid inspiration for a divine table setting and elevating even casual outdoor meals.
Alternatively, Isolda placemats can be used to have fun creatively decorating your home's interior and adding easily changeable pops of colour depending on your mood.
Material: 98% Cotton, 2% Elastane
Handmade and printed in BrazilThey say coral reefs are the rainforests of the ocean. Yet we know more about the surface of the moon than we do about the bottom of the ocean. The Amazonian reef off the coast of Northern Brazil stretching up towards French Guiana is one the largest reef systems containing coral and sponge reef systems. It covers 9,300 square kilometers. Yet the reef was only officially discovered in 2016.
Discover the young explorers determined to shine a light on the reef's importance and its impending threat from profiteering oil explorers.
AKINOD | 3-Piece Cutlery Set in Jungle
Regular price £35.00 £35.00If you don’t have a palm tree handy for an eating venue, find any shady spot and breathe in the spring breeze as you nosh with this Jungle set, featuring a beautifully illustrated kentia palm print. Ditching plastic cutlery doesn’t mean eating your salad with a clumsy bamboo spork. Saying no to disposable utensils becomes second nature when you carry around this nifty, French-designed three-piece set.
Highly pragmatic, universal, and super-sleek, it’s ready to use whenever you buy food on the go, have a picnic in your local botanic gardens, take your prepped lunch out of the work fridge, chow down at a food court or take out a snack on a bushwalk.
You can eat elegantly while playing your part in ending single-use cutlery, keeping plastic waste out of the environment, and taking hygiene into your own hands. Just choose a design to your taste.
Each piece — spoon, four-prong fork and a knife with micro-serrated edge, in a cotton carry bag — is thoughtfully designed and engineered to be light and comfortable in the hand, while a clever system of magnets keeps the set safely together and prevents losing a precious component.
