ONE HUNDRED STARS

One Hundred Stars are independent designers creating beautiful, ethical clothing, accessories and homewares.

As a small family run business having strong ethics behind the brand is vitally important to ONE HUNDRED STARS. Whether it is ensuring all their products are only ever printed using AZO free dyes, to using recycled packaging wherever possible, to paying all of their staff in the UK and abroad above the standard living wage.

ONE HUNDRED STARS' garments are made in India following the highest standards of ethical, environmental, and health & safety practice. They work exclusively with another second-generation family business who manufacture all their products. This company is audited regularly and awarded certification SA 8000. This is a social audit that ensures there is no child labour, no bonded labour and employs all its skilled workers on a permanent basis. In addition, ONE HUNDRED STARS carries out its own factory inspections once a year in person for extra piece of mind.

To reduce wastage, ONE HUNDRED STARS design items such as headbands specifically to make use of off-cut or misprinted material. Any faulty items that are returned are repaired in house, then sold in our annual sample sales. They donate 100% of proceeds from these sales to local charities which so far have included food banks, mental health services, community centres in deprived areas and homeless centres.
