In the laboratory, the peppercorn scent was paired with the zing of mandarin, land warm woodland aromatics for a layer of depth and richness. The finishing touch is provided by the vanilla-tobacco notes of the tonka bean – its captivating earthiness holds the scent together and gives it the complex, exotic and cleanly elegant fragrance of its name.
